Hi, I am Jo, I am the owner and creator of: ‘Wings of Aeternum’, I started making Memorial Jewellery after I lost my beautiful mum, Anne, who I miss every single day. I was struggling with my grief, I felt lost, empty  and without purpose and can only describe it as being in a state of limbo. I thought maybe having a ring made with my mums ashes in it would help me feel some comfort but I was struggling for something suitable. I needed an adjustable ring due to an auto-immune disease that causes swelling in my fingers, nothing stood out. This is when I decided to try to make one for myself which involved a great deal of research into the art. Once I was confident and had done many practice pieces I found my perfect Ring Blank. which not only brought me comfort but also gave me a purpose…. I wanted to create for others. 

Grief can overwhelm us, it’s painful and it’s part of all our lives, being able to use mine in a positive way to help others find some comfort is so rewarding.

My inspiration will always be my mum, but my growth and support comes from you all….❤️
